Disabled Facilities Grant

The Disabled Facility Grant (DFG) is a means-tested grant available for you, or someone in your house, with a permanent disability of any sort. The grant can be for up to £30,000 and will enable you to make changes to your home so that you can continue living there. The work it can be used for is listed in our services section.

All government grant applications will be completed on your behalf by the Adapt Your Home For Life administration team, taking away any stress and anxiety.

We will arrange a home visit within 48hours. We can bring an occupational therapist too.

We will discuss whether you are eligible for a Disabled Facilities Grant, and if suitable apply for it on your behalf.
Once we have assessed your needs we will give you options of what adaptations will help you. Then, when you have decided on a style you like, we will give you a timeline.
